Stove Repair Reviews

Messages Grapevine families sent after dinner was back on the stovetop.

Soren D.Stonebridge Oaks, Grapevine

Both front gas burners just clicked and clicked without ever lighting.

He replaced a cracked igniter, cleaned the other burner and taught me to seat the caps right. All four light instantly now.

Our smooth top had a burner stuck on high with no way to turn it down.

Bad infinite switch, replaced before the hour was up. Felt safe cooking again the same night.

Induction cooktop kept flashing at me no matter what pan I used.

After testing it he replaced the power board and explained which of my pans actually work on induction. Very patient.

Before You Call

Check these in order. Say yes and move one box lower. Say no and there is an easy step to try.

  1. Do the other burners work normally?

If none work, reset the breaker for the range, and on gas models confirm the supply valve is open.

  2. Is the burner cap sitting flat and centered?

Lift the cap, wipe the head and set it back so it sits level with no gap.

  3. Are the burner ports clear of food?

Once cool, scrub the ports using a dry toothbrush and a pin for stubborn spots.

  4. Is your pan right for this burner?

Match the pan to the size of the zone, and use magnetic cookware on induction.

Still not heating after all four?

Certified and insured stove techs will diagnose it and get it cooking again.
